Pilea Peperomioides is propagated from tissue culture. In tissue culture, only that part of the plant where offshoots grow (the growing point) is placed under ideal (artificial) conditions. This trendy houseplant has large round leaves on long stems, growing both up and out. The leaves are shiny dark green and leathery to the touch.

Care tips.
The Pilea Peperomioides, also called Pancake plant likes a light spot but not direct sunlight. You can simply apply water right on top of the soil of the Pilea Peperomioides, make sure the potting soil is moderately moist. In summer, water the Pilea Peperomioides about twice a week and in winter you can limit it to once a week. The Pilea Peperomioides also likes a bit of pant food. Regularly add some plant food when watering, this will allow you to enjoy this beautiful plant with its large round leaves longer.
